We provide quality linen laundering to industries as diverse as aviation, healthcare and hospitality, amongst others. Our clientele includes 95% of the airlines that operate out of Singapore's Changi International Airport,including private jets, chartered flights and airport lounges. Our services include soiled linen collection, wet washing, dry cleaning, spot removal, packaging and delivery. We also provide premium quality linen laundry services to the hospitality and F&B industry. Our customers in the hospitality industry include company uniforms, hotels, and recreational clubs.Key accountabilitiesOVERALL PURPOSE OF JOBOperator shall process the washed linens through flatwork ironer according to proper operating procedures and achieve the set production target by adhering to the production schedules.MAIN ACTIVITIES / TASKS * To process the washed linens through flatwork ironer according to daily production schedules and proper operating procedures.

• To utilize the flatwork ironer according to proper safety rules and regulations.
• To feedback to the Section Leader/ Operations Supervisor when work articles to be processed are in shortage (especially applicable to SQ operation).
• To keep the areas clean and carry routine waxing and cleaning of the machinery so as to maintain in good and tidy condition
• To feed the washed linens into the flatwork ironer one at a time. Ensure linen lay flat on the feeding conveyor belt.
• To receive the ironed linens from the flatwork ironer and transfer them to the storage trolley/shelving.
• To inform the Section Leader/ Operations Supervisor immediately if the washed linen is too wet or too dried to be processed, or when the flatwork ironer is down.
• To feedback to Section Leader when the ironed linen output quality is found to be unsatisfactory, e.g. crease or yellowish after ironed.

Skills & experienceJOB REQUIREMENTS

• Physically fit to carry out job functions, including standing for long periods
• Able to work in non-air conditioned environment
• Need to wear uniform, head gear, and covered shoes

WORKING HOURSChoice of 5 or 6 days' work week available. Rotating off-days.
