Job Purpose:The Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for leading a team within the Corporate Learning Centre to enhance and drive commercial and operational excellence through targeted upskilling and reskilling initiatives. This role is crucial in improving customer experience and ensuring excellence across various aviation domains.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
Lead a team focused on elevating commercial and operational excellence across key areas such as Customer Service, Airport/Ground Operations, Passenger Sales & Marketing, Cargo Operations, and Global Onboarding.
Conduct regular and ad-hoc Learning Needs Analysis in collaboration with business units to prioritize and align training initiatives with strategic business outcomes.
Learning and Development:
Oversee the procurement, design, and development of cost-effective and impactful learning programs, ensuring they meet business needs and achieve desired outcomes.
Ensure the effective delivery of learning interventions, including the scheduling of instructor-led training (both in-person and virtual), to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and optimize the learning experience for company staff.
Instructor and Trainer Management:
Recruit, develop, and manage a pool of in-house instructors and Associate Trainers (ATs), fostering a pipeline of subject matter experts to sustain a high standard of training delivery.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
Evaluate and integrate new learning tools and techniques, including digital and GenAI technologies, to enhance learning effectiveness, productivity, and engagement.
Regulatory Compliance and Engagement:
Engage with regulatory bodies (e.g., CAAS, IATA) to ensure all learning programs are compliant with local and international aviation regulations.
Training Roadmap Implementation:
Collaborate with business units to operationalize and maintain Training Roadmaps that support career development and succession planning within key job families.
Learning Culture Promotion:
Promote a vibrant learning culture within SIA by organizing and overseeing learning events, campaigns, and festivals (e.g., LIFE), ensuring continuous engagement and growth among staff.
RequirementsRequirements:Education:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any discipline.
Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) is required.
A Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or similar qualifications is advantageous.
Experience:
8 to 16 years of experience in learning & development or human resources, particularly within a large-scale global workforce or aviation sector.
Proven experience in leading teams to develop and implement learning programs with tangible business value outcomes.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in adult learning methodologies and a passion for continuous learning.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive organizational change.
Innovative mindset with the ability to balance compliance with agility and creativity.
