InterMoor are currently looking to add a Lead Analysis Engineer to their team based in Singapore on a permanent basis. The Senior Naval Architect / Analysis will lead and manage engineering analysis and Projects as required. The Senior Naval Architect / Analysis is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective planning and execution of InterMoor subsea operations

Duties/Responsibilities

• Implement InterMoor safety and quality management systems
• Promote InterMoor at conferences, exhibitions and trade fairs
• Prepare client cost estimates and technical proposals
• Interface with clients, vendors, contractors and external regulatory authorities
• Originate and report on:

• Hydrodynamic & mooring analyses
• Station keeping/heading control analyses
• Towing analyses
• Anchor installation analyses
• Foundation analysis for Floating Wind (mainly Pile)
• Offshore Lifting analyses
• Riser/flexible pipes/ Submarine Hose analyses
• Seafastening analyses
• Installation Aids analyses
• Local FEM structural analyses
• Subsea Installation analysis
• Vessel stability assessments
• Miscellaneous marine operations (e.g. Gravity base, Mid water arch installation & recovery, Rigging Design etc)
• Review technical reports and drawings and provide advice on technical and project related issues
• Supervision and overseeing the drafting and production drawings with specifying appropriate components, equipment and materials
• Prepare offshore installation procedures
• Attend offshore operations (if required), Sea-fastening and load-out meetings, inspections and tests at client/vendor premises
• Support commercial team (when required) with technical evaluations/estimations and in preparation of tenders
• Participate in research and development programs
• Comply with InterMoor quality, safety, environmental management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner minimising harm to the environment
• To ensure his/ her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk
• Conduct all activities in accordance with the Company\'s Policies and Procedures

• The senior Naval Architect / Analysis Engineer position requires an honours degree accredited by the Engineering Council / Reputable University
• Degree (Naval Architecture or a related field such as Engineering or Marine Science) classification should be at least 2:1, although appropriate experience may be accepted in lieu of this in exceptional circumstances
• Mandatory prior experience with the installation/decommissioning of at least 1 floating assets
• Minimum 7 years post-graduate experience is also required; however this may be reduced if other relevant experience can be demonstrated. Mooring related / offshore floating wind experience will be beneficial
• Able to analyze and interpret technical information and drawings
• Constant and consistent precision and detail should be demonstratable together with the ability to work and solve problems independently
• As the engineering team has a highly dynamic workload the ability to rapidly understand and adopt new concepts is vital
• Software skills:

• Desirable: OrcaWave, Aqwa, OrcaFlex, Ansys Structural, AutoCAD and AutoHydro
• Beneficial: Romeo, Rhino and Staad Pro
