Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Ship Management Systems (SMS). Perform system architecture and integration with third-party systems. Lead and support FAT, STW, and HAT testing phases. Handle software configuration management, technical documentation, and troubleshooting. Manage hardware/software maintenance and ensure system operability throughout vessel life cycle. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:

Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or related Engineering. + 5 years' experience in system design, architecture, and maintenance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication abilities for liaising with clients and stakeholders. Able to work independently under pressure and lead small teams. PLC programming and SCADA software proficiency. Strong understanding of control & instrumentation, control system design, and networking/cybersecurity concepts. Familiar with industrial protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J1939). Advantageous: + Knowledge of marine classification codes/regulations.
+ Experience with Python, JSON, RESTful APIs, machine learning, and data analytics.
