Where you would add value In the Amplify Health Data Science unit, our core purpose is to \xe2\x80\x9c Be ASIA\xe2\x80\x99S leading center of excellence for health intelligence analytics and data solutions \xe2\x80\x9d by leveraging data to drive valuable insights to improve both clinical and operational environments. Key to our purpose is obtaining and structuring quality data, leveraging cutting edge analytical innovations and delivering actionable insights in a sustainable and meaningful way. We leverage an integrated, collaborative, and multidisciplinary approach to ensure our objectives and goals are met. The role entails architecting the data platform layer, data cleansing layer, reporting and analytical layers within a cloud environment. Work closely with Data Scientists to understand model features and link back to transactional environment to understand data quality, data relationships and data availability. Document and define frameworks with the Data Engineer to build the data platform. Together these teams will enable data driven actionable insights. The role will include international exposure with other markets across Asia. How you would make a difference The successful applicant will be working within a highly specialized and growing team to enable delivery of data and advanced analytics system capability. Responsibilities will include:

• Selecting, enabling the tools and services for Microsoft Azure based on the client need
• Ensuring optimal utilization of Cloud assets and ensuring appropriate access control and security
• Provide ETL (Extraction Transformation and Loading) Architecture blueprints the Data Engineering team
• Definition of custom meta data models for ELT/ETL
• Mobilize and manage Data Engineers in a implementing production solutions
• Manage integration of master data into the Data Architecture
• Define Data Architecture (DA) blueprints in the Cloud data storage layers
• Participate in review and walk-through sessions with Data Science for model fit and model productization
• Implement Data Ops methodology and enforce conformance
• Define coding standards and monitor and control adherence
• Direct data automation capabilities with the Data Engineer and Data Scientist
• Mobilize team to profile new data sources in a variety of formats including Json, XML, etc
• Define and implement data quality rules with Data Scientists to clean data
• Ensure optimal documentation is in place
• Ensuring Cloud uptime and providing first line technical support
• Represent Data Foundation in architectural forums, influencing and provide guidance on best practice
• Provide guidance through testing of custom third-party applications for Cloud
• Work closely with Data Engineer to facilitate Data Governance including access and security control
• Expert documentation of DA for new data sources, metadata and productionized information flow

What you need to be successful Technical skills core:

• Cloud architecture and tools
• Azure ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Analysis Services and Power BI
• ETL architecture
• Expert database knowledge in SQL and experience with MS Azure
• Modern Azure datawarehouse design skills
• Exceptional data modelling skills ie physical, dimensional and relational 3N forms
• Experience working on large and complex datasets
• DevOps/DataOps and CI/CD experience
• Strong communicator verbally and in writing

Professional Qualifications & Experience

• Honours or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in BSc Computer Science
• Honours or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or Software Engineering with solid experience in data mining and machine learning
• Other qualifications will also be considered if accompanied by the relevant experience
• 15 to 20 years of experience is preferred
