As a Manager for Core APIs and Digital Services, your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of software engineers and ensure that they are meeting project goals and deadlines. You will need to have a strong understanding of API design, development, and management, as well as experience with digital service architecture.

• Leading the delivery of Core APIs and Digital Services: You will be responsible for leading the development team of Core APIs and Digital Services, ensuring that they are efficient, reliable, and meet the needs of PACS.
• Managing and mentoring team members: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of team, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing feedback on performance.
• You will also be responsible for mentoring team members and helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborating with other teams: You will work closely with other teams across the organization to understand their needs and requirements.
• Ensuring quality and security: You will be responsible for ensuring that Core APIs and Digital Services are of high quality and meet security standards. This will involve working closely with your team to ensure that code is tested, reviewed, and approved before it is released.
• Monitoring and optimizing performance: You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of Core APIs and Digital Services and ensuring that they are optimized for speed and efficiency.
• Staying up to date with industry trends: You need to stay up to date with industry trends and developments in API design and digital service architecture.
• Communicating with stakeholders: You will communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to understand their needs and requirements and ensure that Core APIs and Digital Services are meeting their expectations.

Overall, you will play a critical role in ensuring that PACS has reliable, efficient, and secure APIs and digital services that meet the needs of its stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of API design, development, and management
• Experience with digital service architecture, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, React.js
• Experience with API gateways and API management tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of security best practices, such as OAuth, SSL, and encryption
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers

Education

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent/higher

Language

Fluent written and spoken English.
