And to create efficient marketplaces by determining an optimal price that is both sustainable and loved by our partners and consumers.Get to Know the RoleAs Lead Data Scientist, you will report into the Senior Data Science Manager and be based onsite in Singapore. You will use big data to derive actionable insights and design solutions. You will develop deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimisation models to solve challenges related to supply repositioning, activation, and incentivisation within Grab\'s marketplace.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and requirements related to driver repositioning, activation, and incentivisation.
• You will translate business problems into data science problems, formulating and designing potential solutions.
• You will retrieve and analyse relevant data for exploratory analysis, feasibility studies, and solution prototyping.
• You will create technical documents outlining methodologies and findings, and present solutions to business stakeholders to ensure agreement.
• You will design overall architectures for solutions in collaboration with different technical teams, develop data science solutions, and support integration with Engineering systems.
• You will participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards, build dashboards to monitor the health of solutions, and maintain these solutions.
• You will design and conduct experiments to evaluate the impact of solutions.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have a PhD in Computer science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
• You have at least 3 years of experience in reinforcement learning, deep learning, optimisation, or operations research.
• You can develop production-grade machine learning systems, including exploratory analysis, feature engineering, developing data pipelines, and ensuring observability and maintenance.
• You have statistical and large-scale data analytics skills.and are proficiency in Python and SQL.
• You have experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
