We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Lead Digital Product Owner. Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the Digital product owners looking after the end-to-end digital product management cycle and delivery including optimization of digital platforms and new features and functions release. This includes customer insights/metrics analysis, customer journey, BAU production management, change prioritization, roadmap and program management
  • Manage different Pods that consist of Digital product owners, Business analysts, project manager, delivery leads and scrum masters, looking after the digital assets assigned under your care
  • That includes overseeing Digital product owners in their responsibilities:
    • Own digital product work streams in integration program; drive business as usual activities, digital assets integration and rebranding activities to deliver company, customer, digital objectives.
    • Champion agile platform development approach within the company; actively drive agile approach in digital platform development process with cross functional teams and external parties.
    • Work closely together with UX/UI lead and stakeholders to ensure delivery of optimize customer experience
    • Close collaboration with various teams such as technology, UI/UX, operations, product, distribution, Group level, WPB/bank, and other business units on related deliverables
    • Lead and manage complex cross functional projects with various stakeholders in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Develop and communicate clear business requirements, manage the customer journey, day to day processes and change prioritization
  • Actively share best practices and emerging trends and identify opportunities across the team
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to ensure all risks are considered and managed accordingly

Requirements
Requirements
  • Studies in Business Administration, technology, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in managing and launching financial services digital platform in complex decision-making processes. Insurance experience preferred
  • 3 years of people manager experience leading teams of digital product owners or delivery leads, proven experience in Agile, design thinking, familiar with platform performance management metrics, managing budgets and digital strategy/ route map development. Collaborative tools like Jira, Figma and Confluence
  • Customer obsessed individual with strong understanding of end-to-end customer journey (pain points and Moment of truth analysis)
  • Change agent that is ready to challenge status quo with strong solutionist mind-set and able to guide team to collaborate effectively with transformation, technology and other operation teams (both local and global teams) in delivering business objectives. Proven problem-solving skills to lead the team in removing roadblocks or deriving alternative solutions
  • Data driven and results oriented, with strong analytical and project management skills; high level of attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously with tight timelines
  • Excellent communication (includes objection handling) and inter-personal skills to engage multiple stakeholders (local and global teams)
  • Able to influence, manage and build relationships with multiple senior stakeholders with the proposed digital platform change and project plans, including Risk, legal and compliance teams
  • Strong digital mind-set, strong understanding of the market trends and best practices, In-depth understanding of financial services customers journey, financial services products including front end, back-end systems
  • In-depth understanding of financial services regulation (inclusive of MAS Technology Risk Management) related to digital assets management and other data protection/legal/ compliance processes
