• Responsible for engineering, design activities for electrification projects i.e. design deliverable completion, clarification meetings with client, follow up with external consultants on submissions, vendors.
• Package lead with overall responsibility for the design and execution of electrical packages for traction power systems e.g. MV Switchgear (66KV/22KV), Power Converters, Power Transformers.
• Develop conceptual engineering, propose and implement value-added engineering solutions for the projects.
• Support design manager and coordinate with internal teams for preparing the detailed schematics, philosophy documents, control and protection schemes, mechanical and protection interlocking, optimization of schemes including selection of secondary components.
• Support traction power simulation studies using industrial softwares like Sidytrac, SKM, ETAP etc.
• Provide system engineering support for tender / bids.
• Attend customer and site acceptance testing and until closure of all action items related to design and quality.
• Work closely with Siemens AG design teams and engineering on the customer requirement, coordinate design verification and submission to customer.

Your Qualifications And Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Digital And Solid

• Minimally possess degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Has acquired strong foundation as an Electrical Engineer in traction power systems with local project experience.
• Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the electrification and infrastructure fields for MRT projects.
• Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections especially Siemens GIS Switchgear, Protection relays and parameterization.
• Added advantage for experience with simulation studies for DC traction power systems.
• Good experience in handling medium to high complexity of solution projects.
• Well versed with local transportation operators and legal requirement.
• Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions.
• Able to demonstrate strong and effective communication at all levels within the Business \xe2\x80\x93 and in front of new and existing customers.
