projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in power system design, proven team leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all aspects of
electrical engineering detailed design
for Offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and Onshore facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.
Take full ownership of the
electrical system design
, including studies, specifications, design reviews, and related services covering
MV (11kV)
and
LV (690/400V)
systems -- such as switchgear, transformers, Power Management Systems (PMS), MV VFDs, and electrical distribution networks.
Supervise and guide a team of Electrical Engineers responsible for design calculations, equipment selection, and package engineering (e.g., switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and distribution boards).
Provide technical support to multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical, Process, and Instrumentation disciplines, ensuring integrated and optimized design solutions.
Oversee a team of Designers and Drafters to develop high-quality 2D and 3D deliverables -- including
Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), block diagrams, interconnection diagrams, layouts, and cable routing drawings.
Conduct and review electrical load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies to ensure system reliability and safety.
Prepare technical documentation, equipment datasheets, and engineering reports as required for project execution and client submission.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and ensure timely resolution of all electrical design issues during engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback to junior engineers and designers, fostering continuous professional development within the team.
Ensure that all electrical design activities adhere to
quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements
, while maintaining close coordination with other engineering disciplines.
