What the role is:As a Lead Engineer / Engineer, Data Analyst in HTX, you will develop a suite of in-house visualisations, dashboards, models to analyse the performance of HTX\'s digitalisation efforts as well as product metrics. You will collaborate with product teams, data engineers, digitalisation teams to analyse the performance of existing programmes and products, bring out insights through compelling data stories, and recommend actions to improve the status quo. You will brainstorm, recommend and help implement the necessary efforts needed for business users, power users, and product teams to enable their programmes and products to be analytics-ready.What you will be working on:The job-holder will collaborate with various teams (within HTX and across Home Teams) and is responsible to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Work in a product team with other stakeholders to identify, scope, develop and implement visualisations, dashboards, models and solutions to address overall analytics needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and implement ETL workflows for data pre-processing and feature engineering, develop machine learning models, and evaluate techniques and algorithms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct evaluation of analytical output (e.g. model) and regular review of productionized models; refresh/ retire models. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and present analytical insights that effectively describe complex quantitative methods in clear and concise communications to business users and stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with relevant units to drive the adoption of data science & AI in HTX officers\' daily work. Advise business users on how they should perform upstream data collection to best empower downstream analytics work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep abreast of latest technological advances in analytics, data science and AI techniques.What we are looking for:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline that involves Data Science/Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics &/or Scientific Computing or relevant disciplines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding in one or more of the following areas: \xe2\x80\xa2 Artificial intelligence algorithms \xe2\x80\xa2 Machine learning and deep learning \xe2\x80\xa2 Data mining and knowledge discovery \xe2\x80\xa2 Statistical forecasting methods \xe2\x80\xa2 Link analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Natural language processing \xe2\x80\xa2 Automatic Speech Recognition \xe2\x80\xa2 Geospatial Information System / geospatial analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Sensor analytics \xe2\x80\xa2 Visualisation \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in ML/AI scripting languages (Python, R), data query languages such as SQL \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate with knowledge or experience in modern BI systems, Data Engineering techniques, MLOps will have an added advantage.
