What the role is:As a Lead Engineer / Engineer, Data Analyst in HTX, you will develop a suite of in-house visualisations, dashboards, models to analyse the performance of HTX's digitalisation efforts as well as product metrics. You will collaborate with product teams, data engineers, digitalisation teams to analyse the performance of existing programmes and products, bring out insights through compelling data stories, and recommend actions to improve the status quo. You will brainstorm, recommend and help implement the necessary efforts needed for business users, power users, and product teams to enable their programmes and products to be analytics-ready.What you will be working on:The job-holder will collaborate with various teams (within HTX and across Home Teams) and is responsible to: Work in a product team with other stakeholders to identify, scope, develop and implement visualisations, dashboards, models and solutions to address overall analytics needs. Design and implement ETL workflows for data pre-processing and feature engineering, develop machine learning models, and evaluate techniques and algorithms. Conduct evaluation of analytical output (e.g. model) and regular review of productionized models; refresh/ retire models. Prepare and present analytical insights that effectively describe complex quantitative methods in clear and concise communications to business users and stakeholders. Work with relevant units to drive the adoption of data science & AI in HTX officers\' daily work. Advise business users on how they should perform upstream data collection to best empower downstream analytics work. Keep abreast of latest technological advances in analytics, data science and AI techniques.What we are looking for:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline that involves Data Science/Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics &/or Scientific Computing or relevant disciplines. Strong understanding in one or more of the following areas: Artificial intelligence algorithms Machine learning and deep learning Data mining and knowledge discovery Statistical forecasting methods Link analysis Natural language processing Automatic Speech Recognition Geospatial Information System / geospatial analysis Sensor analytics Visualisation Proficient in ML/AI scripting languages (Python, R), data query languages such as SQL Candidate with knowledge or experience in modern BI systems, Data Engineering techniques, MLOps will have an added advantage.
