This role establishes the assessment processes and policies. The role is responsible for the alignment, implementation as well as research and analysis.

  • Determine the learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
  • As a strategic advisor and consultant on the development, implementation, evaluation and enhancements to existing assessment procedures, operations, and systems.
  • Good knowledge in methodologies for assessment (regular benchmarking and participation in conferences)
  • Oversee a process for assessing certified professionals\' competencies.
  • Standard setting for assessment to evaluate the competencies of candidates and ensure integrity and confidentiality.
  • Pilot runs of assessments and the incorporation of feedback as well as enhance the delivery of assessments.
  • Fair and transparent assessment process and exemption criteria.
  • Development, organisation, analysis and reporting of candidates\' learning outcomes using assessment framework review and performance improvement.
  • Recording, storage, management, and dissemination of confidential and sensitive assessment data.
  • Graduate degree, or equivalent qualifications in Human Resources (HR), I/O Psychology or Business.
  • Demonstrate continuing professional development through development activities such as coursework, workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Qualifications in competence-based assessment BPS Level 1 / 2 Certified.
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience in an educational environment and in progressively demanding positions.
  • Prior experience in learning and development, teaching, and/or assessment of professional capabilities.
Other Requirements: * Familiarity with assessment design principles is essential.
  • Experience in setting questions to assess the capability of HR professionals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to partner with an executive team of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions in light of existing conditions and constraints.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
