Lead Java Engineer
Job Description
\xe2\x80\x8bOur clients are an established commodities trading house who are embarking on a greenfield initiative to build out their own proprietary risk platform. Working closely with the global engineering team, we are looking for a hands on engineering manager who would be tasked with building out the platform from scratch for APAC. The ideal candidate would enjoy building and scaling up platforms within financial markets. Candidates without prior leadership experience but who display maturity in design and architecture would be given a pathway into a leadership role.

Job Requirements
8+ years of hands-on Java engineering with good OOP fundamentals.
Proficiency in design and architecture with a proven track record of building within a microservices architecture.
SQL.
Understanding of pricing/volatility curves across any asset class is advantageous.
Able to drive good engineering practises and clean code.
Good understanding of DevOps tools and containers.
An understanding of cloud/hybrid infrastructure is a plus.
