About the Role
Support the Head with market conduct framework related work.

Lead market conduct framework related work as the accountable person for the following key tasks. Depending on complexity of queries and impact, where required, seek Head and/ or CRO input.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to communicate new/ changes in requirements to Group and related regulatory requirements. Obtain early comments/ concerns and resolve/ highlight such comments, especially in relation to challenges in implementation within the allowed timeline.
  • Conduct gap assessment for new, changes to Group and related regulatory requirements, and/or projects. This includes relevant identification of risk and controls, gaps, advisory of action plans, tracking to action plans to completion of implementation.
  • Keep the central compliance register of the section updated.
  • Conduct compliance review/ compliance monitoring. This includes relevant planning, execution, reporting and tracking of all remediation efforts to completion, ensuring that work performed remain in line with related regulations/ policies/ standards/ SOPs.
  • Identify wider use of data analytics for first line and compliance monitoring. This includes, for example, introducing additional indicators for monitoring of market conduct, use of analytics to target increase sample selection size to detect operational lapses in compliance review/ monitoring work.
  • Provide inputs to reporting/ request of information when required/ requested.
  • Address queries from/ provide advisory to stakeholders, including review of MCF-related training materials.
  • Review marketing materials and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Share technical knowledge within section/ department/ division (through allowable forums such as section team meeting/ management meeting/ division meeting/ day to day work).
  • Proactively manage risk and compliance matters e.g.
    • Work with stakeholders so that reported incidents or issues can be remediated within the stated turnaround time.
    • Comply with regulatory requirements and Company\xe2\x80\x99s policies, standards and procedures, including adherence to Fair Dealing.
    • Attend mandatory risk and compliance training in a timely manner.

Support Head and/ or CRO in risk-based planning of section/ department/ division workplan and any other ad-hoc work related to market conduct framework that may be assigned where subject matter expertise is required.
