The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.:We are looking for a seasoned data engineer and AI specialist with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing analytics, data engineering, and AI solutions within our organization, ensuring the effective extraction, translation, manipulation, and visualization of data using various IT tools and software. This role requires expertise and a strong background in designing, building, deploying, and managing data analytics and AI capabilities to help business users make better decisions.Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs.\xc2\xb7 Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\xc2\xb7 Develop and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures for data extraction and manipulation.\xc2\xb7 Ensure data governance and security protocols are followed, maintaining compliance with company policy, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, workflows, and systems.\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.\xc2\xb7 Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data extraction, translation, enrichment, and visualisation.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Apache NiFi, Hop, and Airflow for data orchestration and pipeline management.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Apache Superset and Microsoft Power BI for data visualisation.\xc2\xb7 Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and SQL.\xc2\xb7 Expertise in SQL and other database management systems.\xc2\xb7 Experience in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\xc2\xb7 Experience with AWS data technologies such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Lambda is a plus.Specialization : Information Technology
