Lead Project Quality Engineer (Connection), you are responsible to develop and maintain systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection Test Plan (ITP), and Quality Control Procedures aligning to regulatory, customer requirement and corporate QMS.
• Monitoring compliance with codes, standards and customer specifications (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, ASTM, NACE, DNV).
• Conducting internal and external audits, including supplier and subcontractor audits, to verify quality performance.
• Preparing and present quality related reports such as QA/QC dashboard and final documentation dossiers for client approvals including investigation and improvement report
• Identifying opportunities for quality improvement though lessons learned and root cause analysis.
• Promoting a culture of quality awareness and provide training and mentoring to project staffs on QA/QC practices.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Have minimum 8 years experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas, petrochemical or energy sectors
• Have strong knowledge in EPC project lifecycle and relevant internal standards (ASME, API, ISO, DNV, etc.)
• Have an excellent understanding of Quality Management Systemm (QMS) and MS office tool
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on rootcause and corrective action
• Have certification in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and/or ASQ CQE, preferred
• Be able to consider travelling- Minimal (10% per month on need basis)
