Lead / Senior iOS Engineer
SPH Media\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to be the trusted source of news on Singapore and Asia, to represent the communities that make up Singapore, and to connect them to the world. It has several business segments in the media industry, including the publishing of newspapers, magazines, and books in both print and digital editions. It also owns and operates other businesses including radio stations and outdoor media.In this role, you can expect to:
- Design and build highly interactive, user-friendly iOS applications which present our content and media to audiences globally.
- Be involved in the entire software development lifecycle from conceptualisation to deployment, including design and testing.
- Work within cross-functional teams, innovating on behalf of our readers.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
You may be a good fit if:
- You have two or more years of experience building native iOS applications, using Xcode, Obj-C, and Swift.
- You have a good understanding of UIKit.
- You are experienced in HTTP API integrations (RESTful, GraphQL, SOAP, etc).
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is your preferred approach, and your OOP design skills are strong.
- You are comfortable working with Git (GitHub) and CI/CD tools.
- You enjoy Agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, Lean Startup).
