What You'll Do
Lead and contribute to the design, development, and operations of the Commercial Cloud Platform. Develop APIs, backend automation, and secure CI/CD pipelines using
Node.js
,Python
,GitLab
,Atlassian
, andTerraform
. Build and maintain platforms supporting multiple government agencies. Champion DevOps, automation, scalability, and resilience across the engineering community. Implement large-scale automation for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Guide and mentor developers in cloud-native and secure software engineering practices.What We're Looking For
8+ years
of experience in API/backend development (Node.js, Python). Hands-on experience withcloud infrastructure
, automation, andCI/CD pipelines
. Proven leadership of small engineering teams. Familiarity withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)
andPolicies as Code
using Git. Experience with or interest inTerraform
,Bash scripting
, andCloud Landing Zones
(AWS Control Tower, Azure CAF). Knowledge ofSRE principles
, application monitoring, and code security best practices. Strong collaborator with a passion for automation, scalability, and continuous improvement. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
