We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead who will be a player coach to ensure successful deployment of our Augmented Reality solutions in some of the world\'s leading Enterprise customers. A passionate technologist with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as a Software Engineering Lead, serving as both a technical leader and hands-on contributor. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead by example.Responsibilities

  • Ownership of software development of customer specific projects on TeamViewer Frontline platform. You will work closely with our Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth project roll outs on customer side.
  • Lead by example through hands-on contribution to the development of software solutions, writing high-quality code and implementing best practices.
  • Architect, design, and review complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Create interfaces to backend systems of our customers of enterprise scale using Java and SpringBoot, e.g. REST Services, databases, SAP etc.
  • Develop client workflows and make customer-specific adjustments via XML and JavaScript.
  • Configure user interfaces and take care of on-premise installation of our software.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work with the latest Smart Glasses and other wearable devices and bring them to use at our customers.
  • Do technical consulting for our customers.
  • Support user acceptance and system integration tests.
  • Execute roll-out at customer site.
  • Take on bug-fixing during hyper care phase and handover to support team.
  • Work independently on projects and be responsible for complying with time and quality specifications.
Requirements
  • University Degree (or equivalent work experience) required, preferably in computer science or related area.
  • Extensive experience developing production grade software with Java and SpringBoot.
  • Expertise in web technologies such as JavaScript.
  • Database experience with postgresql, MySQL.
  • Expertise with API design and specifications and XML / JSON
  • Android development experience (optional).
  • Experience working in close customer collaboration paired with excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Certifications such as Azure/GCP/AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Prior experience with logistics processes or manufacturing companies or automotive industry would be a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for acting as team player especially when it comes to cross functional teams paired with passion to work independently, assuming holistic responsibility for a project.
  • Fluency in English is required
