Lead Space Mission System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead in conceptualisation and architecting of small satellite missions
  • System design and engineering of small satellites
  • Requirement definitions and technical management of sub-contractors and collaborators
  • Submit proposals for innovation projects to government funding agencies
  • Respond to RFPs for proof of concepts and commercial projects
  • Work with project manager to ensure timely delivery of satellite modules and project milestones
  • Work with Assembly, Integration and Test team to create test plans in various design phases up to launch
Job Requirements:
  • Master / Degree in Engineering/Physics or equivalent
  • At least 10 years relevant working experience in satellite designs
  • Experience in creating spacecraft integration test plans
  • Experience in spacecraft development cycle starting from conceptualisation and requirement
  • definitions to launch and in-orbit test and calibrations
  • Experience in engaging government and/or commercial entities in satellite projects in submitting
  • proposals, requirement negotiations/definitions, responding to RFQ and feasibility studies
  • Experience in technical management for various satellite sub-contractors & collaborators
  • Experience in managing system integration and spacecraft level tests preferred but not
  • mandatory
  • Thinks critically and systematically to work on complex multi-disciplinary problems
  • Possesses technical leadership
  • Location: Ang Mo Kio
