We advance communities and transform industries.We are seeking an experienced and highly skilledTechnical Manager for Rail Communications Systems. As the Technical Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the technical team towards the successful delivery of integrated communication solutions, including Public Address (PA), Access Management Control Systems (AMS), Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Radio, network infrastructure, and power systems. This role demands robust leadership in managing both project delivery and team dynamics, ensuring comprehensive integration and migration documentation is thoroughly prepared and meets all regulatory and operational standards.What we seek to accomplish together:

• Lead and manage a diverse technical team responsible for the design, implementation, and migration of PA, AMS, VSS, Radio, network, and power systems within rail projects.
• Ensure the development and clearance of integration and migration documents meet all technical and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of communication system projects, from initial concept through to testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate effectively with other project stakeholders, including engineering teams, project managers, and external contractors, to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical oversight and make critical decisions during system migration, integration, and implementation phases.
• Develop training programs to enhance technical competencies within the team, ensuring they are proficient with the latest technologies and industry practices.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet project deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency within the team.
• Manage resources and personnel development strategically to optimize project outcomes and team performance.
• Adhere strictly to industry standards and safety regulations throughout all stages of the project.

A little about yourself

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a technical leadership role, specifically in rail or telecommunications, managing integrated communication systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of PA, AMS, VSS, Radio, network, and power systems.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams through complex projects, from conception to completion.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a strong aptitude for making quick, effective decisions.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of successful stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and standard practices in the rail communication sector.
• Experience in creating, reviewing, and approving detailed technical documentation and integration plans.
