The Fashion Learning and Development Manager plays a key role in the successful execution of the Boutique Retail Strategy in the market, which is to \xe2\x80\x9cengage and inspire consumers of today and tomorrow effectively and durably to the brand\xe2\x80\x9d.
With the evolution of Learning and Development needs, taking into consideration the diversity of the Retail teams in our boutiques, as well as our mission towards sustainability and CSR initiatives, this Manager is the lead actor in supporting Local Learning and Development Teams within the Fashion Division to manage changes in mindset, organization as well as learning delivery and programs.
With the mission of Fashion Advisors being brand Advocates for the house, all FAs should be equipped with developmental tools to be able to story tell and convey the Chanel difference with our savior faire and the inspiration behind each unique collection.
He or she does so by:
Working with stakeholders (Retail Manager, Star Expertise and ODHR) to engage and develop talents in the Boutique through hiring, inspiring and repositioning talent.
Leading the prioritization process of learning needs in Fashion division and ensure alignment with global and regional business needs.
Relaying to ODHR teams the learning needs of the Boutique teams and co-creating plus rolling-out learning modules and programs. Working with stakeholders to ensure that Fashion strategies will succeed when executed in the boutiques by supporting with internal communication and training where appropriate.
Surfacing promptly feedback and learnings for iterations, adjustments and adaptation where needed.
In short, the Learning and Development Manager ensures that the development of the right talent and the right level of \xe2\x80\x9cpersonal service\xe2\x80\x9d are in place in our Boutiques.

Uphold the image of the brand (Boutique and Boutique Team)
Recognizes and respects that brand image is paramount and is a key consideration in ensuring the successful execution of the retail strategy in boutiques.
Engaging and Inspiring Boutique Teams
Understands what is required to build Boutique Talents in the market, and work with Stakeholders in determining the \xe2\x80\x9chow\xe2\x80\x9d.
Is responsible for working with relevant stakeholders to engage and inspire boutique teams including:
Curate relevant learning and development content
Support boutique talents to identify with the brand and go beyond work to build personal capabilities to feel confident and contribute to the best they can.
Participate in conversations on establishing principles for Compensation and Benefits.
Participate in conversations on charting career growth and development opportunities
Learning Needs and roll-out of modules and programs
Identifies, prioritizes and relays Learning needs to Local and/or Regional ODHR team to co-create learning and development solutions
Partners with Regional and Local stakeholders to implement and roll-out Learning modules and programs
Strongly partners Style Expertise m\xc3\xa9tier to ensure that all Boutique selling staff are able to offer Basic Styling services
Strongly partners with WFJ teams to ensure that all Boutique selling staff are confident and capable to sell WFJ products

Collaborate with other Business Divisions
Collaborates where applicable with Watches/Fine Jewellery Division, and Fragrance/Beauty Products Division on \xe2\x80\x9cRetail People\xe2\x80\x9d matters.
Personal Specifications: Academic / Professional Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, professional Adult Learning certifications.
Work Experience
Experience in People Development for Retail / Boutique staff required
Experienced in Retail Realities (directly or indirectly) and able to \xe2\x80\x9cspeak the Retail language\xe2\x80\x9d
Knowledge in Organizational behavior and design will be advantageous
