Short Description

Reporting to the Senior Learning Innovator (SLI), the Learning Technologist supports the Innovation Centre in assessing the learning needs and implementation of learning technologies (LearnTech) into the learning ecosystem of enterprises and the broader community. He/she will assist in driving innovation by identifying, trialling and experimenting with applications of learning technologies (curation and showcase) to evaluate and facilitate translation of such LearnTech into actual applications. He/she will also work with IAL grant recipients to identify potential integration opportunities and develop roadmaps for LearnTech incorporations. Key activities related to these responsibilities include:

• Support the implementation/incorporation of learning tools, technologies, and platforms into the enterprise\'s learning ecosystem to improve learning outcomes and support its business objectives.
• Maintain and update the depository on proven cost-effective and easy-to-use (CEE) technology tools and applications to encourage adoption of learn tech amongst the training and adult education community.
• Keep abreast of emerging tools and their reviews on efficacy and use.
• Explore and trial the application of learning tools, technologies, and platforms to better advice and support the development and delivery of innovative learning experiences.
• Analyse and assess client\'s business operating environment, industry context, current approach to learning technology incorporation, and learners\' digital readiness to recommend appropriate LearnTech applications for incorporation.
• Evaluate and produce impact reports on LearnTech applications based on learner profile and learning needs to stakeholders.

• Assist the SLI to conceptualise, organise, and implement one strand of learning innovation activities, such as workshops and pilot programs that focus on tech-enabled learning.
• Recommend and support the development of innovative technology-enabled resources to facilitate innovative learning practices and adoption within the TAE sector.
• Review and refine proven learning technology prototypes to incorporate outcomes of assessments and testing, and develop implementation plans for LearnTech integration within the enterprise.
• Manage contractual and performance matters with existing vendors.
• Any other duties, including cross-divisional projects or events, that may be assigned by the management from time to time to meet the needs of the organisation and changing environment.

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in education and learning technologies, or Software Development.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing technology-enabled learning, Multimedia Production, Education technologies and / or have worked in a technology start-up.
• At least 5 years of experience and proven competencies in supporting adult education, adoption of learning technologies and production of learning resources.
• Proven skills in networking, business acumen, conceptualisation, project management and project implementation; with experience in business development and enterprise fronting engagements.
• Demonstrated knowledge on innovation developments in technology-enabled learning and technology-enabled learning design, with a sound appreciation of pedagogical and andragogical principles and practices.
• Possess strong communications and analytical skills, able to work independently and as a team.
• Familiar with Singapore\'s Continuing Education and Training (CET) landscape and having good network of learning solution providers, enterprises, Training Providers and/or IHLs would be an advantage.
• The successful appointee will be based in IAL campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute at Paya Lebar
