Temasek Polytechnic\'s Centre for Life Skills is looking for candidates to teach and develop curriculum in the life skills domain and support the Centre\'s strategic initiatives. You must be able to teach and facilitate life skills modules such as: \xe2\x80\xa2 Communication Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Critical Thinking Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Career Readiness \xe2\x80\xa2 Leadership \xe2\x80\xa2 Personal & Interpersonal Effectiveness

What you will be working on:

- Design curriculum incorporating instructional design frameworks and ensuring industry relevance. - Conduct/facilitate innovative and experiential lessons in face to face, online (HBL) and hybrid modes. - Incorporate digital technology and creative & innovative methods in teaching. - Develop and review teaching materials and assessment methods for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) learners. - Develop, coordinate and conduct life skills training courses for academic staff. - Participate in action and applied research. - Incorporate the use of AI, Ed Tech tools and learning analytics to enhance teaching and assessment methods and workflow. - Perform relevant administrative duties. - Provide pastoral care and guidance to students. - Support TP, the School of Humanities & Social Sciences and the Centre in various institutional programmes, initiatives and events.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is people-oriented, with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. In addition, you should be: - Well-versed in current and global issues, trends and digital technology. - Savvy with MS365 applications and the use of AI and Ed Tech tools. - Resourceful and adept at problem solving. - Strong with administrative matters and organizational skills. - Independent, self-driven and ready to be a team player. - Flexible and adaptable, ready to work in a fast-paced changing environment. - Minimum three years teaching experience in areas such as Communication Skills/Mass Communication; or any other work experience in education, corporate training, student development, or a related field in life skills. - Relevant professional certification or experience in the following area(s): > CELTA, ACLP, advanced certification in career development facilitation etc. > Curriculum design, development and assessment for both face-to-face and online courses. - Experience in instructional design and the development of educational technology tools will be an added advantage. - With strong industry linkages to enable collaboration and engagement will also be an added advantage.
