Lecturer (Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics) /School of Informatics & IT[What the role is]

• Conduct lessons to students (youths and adult learners) and carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the teaching role in School premises or via synchronous online using software such as Microsoft Teams or Collaborate;
• Design, develop, maintain, and review new/existing course materials/curriculum, as well as assessments. This involves making recommendations on areas of improvement that would enhance the students' learning, performance and employability;
• Develop student capabilities in project work (including e-learning and self-directed learning);
• Coach and mentor students to support their learning;
• Keep abreast of current trends and advancements in artificial intelligence and technologies;
• Support school's initiatives through involvement in outreach programmes, committee work, projects and events.

[What we are looking for]

• Minimum two years of industry experience in at least one of the following IT Security domains:

• Hands-on experience analysing high volumes of logs, network data (e.g. Netflow, FPC), and other attack artefacts in support of incident investigations
• Detail proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems
• Good understanding and exposure to Cloud standards, architecture and models
• Good Knowledge of Public Cloud such as AWS, Azure and GCP
• Malware Reverse Engineering

• Familiar with at least one of the following:

• Network security
• Malware Analysis
• Cloud Security
• Mobile Devices security
• AI in Cybersecurity
• IoT Security
• Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, ISC2 CISSP, SANS, CEH, etc. are a major plus
• Possesses passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with youths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
