You will be part of a team that drives the marketing curriculum within the School of Business, which supports the Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) landscape through various modules & short courses. You will undertake curriculum development and delivery of diploma-related modules and be involved in applied industry projects. There will be opportunities to formulate and implement strategies in curriculum & pedagogy, which support skills development to meet the ever-changing needs of the marketing industry. You will undertake these tasks in close collaboration with various schools, divisions & sections within the polytechnic.

The appointee must be competent to teach in digital marketing-related modules, particularly in at least 2 of the following areas:

  • Digital Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing Strategy & Analytics
  • Performance Marketing & Analytics
  • Digital Content Marketing
  • Social Media Analytics
[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-
  • Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.
  • Support students in the area of pastoral care and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain new/existing PET and CET modules with an infusion of digital marketing analytics, content strategy frameworks & technologies where necessary. This includes a review of the current curriculum to make recommendations on areas of improvement that would enhance students\xe2\x80\x99 performance, learning and employability.
  • Enhance students\xe2\x80\x99 learning through other activities such as training students for competitions, supervising projects and internships, and leading them on overseas learning programmes/community service
  • Keep current and abreast of trends and developments in the area of Marketing, Digital Marketing & Branding
  • Contributes to the development of the Digital Marketing & Branding capability in the teaching team.
  • Manage the school\xe2\x80\x99s social media accounts and content.
  • Support the school\xe2\x80\x99s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects such as process improvement projects, development and management of new courses, industry connections and projects
  • Handle administrative work relating to teaching.

Requirements:-
  • At least 4 years of experience in Digital Marketing
  • Strong Domain Knowledge in Marketing & Digital Marketing
  • Data Analytics & Content Creation Skillset
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
  • Facilitating & Teaching Related Skills
  • A highly motivated individual who can work independently & in a team
  • An effective team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing & presentation skills
  • Showcases a strong self-driven interest in the developments within the marketing industry on the latest digital tools/platforms
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
