What the role is:This position is within the School of Business which offers the Diploma in Communications & Media Management.What you will be working on:- Conduct and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners in communications/media and/or technology related areas - Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials (for face-to-face and online learning) as well as to set and mark assessments - Support student learning and development through supervision, mentoring, consultations and inspiring students to actively participate in student development activities, events and competitions. This includes coaching students for competitions and leading students for local and overseas learning trips - Undertake industry projects and foster industry collaborations - Take on committee roles and any other duties as may be assigned - Stay current and responsive to changing trends in the professional and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communitiesWhat we are looking for:- Academic training related to Business/Humanities discipline - At least 3 years of relevant experience in communications and/or media production - Ability to work on interdisciplinary collaborations under the broad scope of digital content; and experience in immersive media production would be advantageous - Adept at producing media deliverables using generative AI - Proficiency in two or more of the following areas: Media writing / Audio/Radio production / Content creation for social/digital platforms / Editing (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects) - Possess data analytics skills with the ability to interpret and act on data-driven insights - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - Have strong industry linkages as you will be required to manage and support industry projects - Able to work independently as well as in a team environment - Have a passion for developing talent and enjoy working with young adults and adult learners - Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to invest in continuous learningAbout Temasek Polytechnic:Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a leading institution of high learning nestled by the idyllic shores of Bedok Reservoir in Tampines.
