Centre for Language Studies National University of Singapore Starting Jan 2023 The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Lecturer in Spanish Language on Centre for Language Studies National University of Singapore Starting Jan 2023 The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Lecturer in Spanish Language on the Educator Track Scheme The purpose of the Educator Track Scheme is to attract, nurture, and retain suitably qualified and highly effective faculty members who approach teaching as a scholarly practice, and who therefore focus on and are passionate about excellence in teaching as a means of supporting student learning. The initial appointment will be made on a 2- or 3-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement, with a career progression path for promotion (Lecturer Senior Lecturer Associate Professor (Educator Track) Professor). Applicants for the position should minimally possess a M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, preferably with an official DELE examiner certification, at least three years of experience in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language preferably at the tertiary level and the development of Spanish language curriculum at any level, and demonstrate proficiency in the use of IT in teaching. The appointee's duties will include teaching, curriculum development, module coordination as well as administrative duties. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
