The purpose of the Educator Track Scheme is to attract, nurture, and retain suitably qualified and highly effective faculty members who approach teaching as a scholarly practice, and who therefore focus on and are passionate about excellence in teaching as a means of supporting student learning. The initial appointment will be made on a 3-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement, with a career progression path for promotion (Lecturer

Associate Professor (Educator Track)
Professor).

The appointee\'s duties will include teaching, curriculum development, module coordination as well as administrative duties. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Relocation, leave, medical and housing benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable NUS regulations.

Applicants for the position should have at least a Master\'s degree in the Teaching of Korean as a Foreign Language, Applied Linguistics or any related field with at least three years of experience in teaching Korean as a foreign language and in curriculum development at the tertiary level. Skills/knowledge/experience in the application of IT to language teaching and/or research in Korean as a foreign language would be an advantage. The appointee\'s duties will include a wide range of teaching and developmental tasks for lectures as well as course administration. Appointment will be made on a three-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
