The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Lecturer (Materials Chemistry).

Applicant Profile:

• Expertise in the formulation and characterisation techniques of intricate self-assembly systems and molecular structure organisation of materials
• Hands-on expertise in synthesising different types of materials (e.g. polymers, inorganic materials, composites, etc.) and characterising them using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, AFM, NMR, etc
• Experience in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate materials chemistry-related courses. Experience in curriculum development and a modern pedagogical approach is also beneficial
• Possesses excellent communication skills to deliver impactful teaching
• Passionate about education with a strong commitment to teaching excellence in the higher education setting
• Demonstrate potential for scholarship in teaching and learning (SoTL)

Qualification Requirement:

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering / Chemistry or a closely related field
• Postdoctoral training in the relevant fields
