He/she must possess a passion for working with youths and adult learners. There will be opportunities to develop curriculum skills with a focus on English Language and National Education/Service Learning and hone administrative skills related to teaching and driving School/Institutional strategic initiatives will be an important part of the job too. Successful candidates will be expected to be resourceful and innovative with initiative and good communication skills.The appointee must be competent to teach skills in the Common Core Curriculum ( ) and Polytechnic Foundation Programme of the School that include:

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) students (youths and adult learners)
• Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum and ensure industry relevancy
• Work with external partners and SP schools/departments to coordinate and deliver modules effectively
• Help craft and run unique institutional programmes and initiatives
• Provide pastoral care and support as Personal Tutor
• Assist module teams to support the module teaching staff in delivering lessons and carry out other module-related matters effectively
• Assist in the School\'s industry partnership efforts

Requirements:-

• Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners
• Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
• People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Enjoy new challenges and executing projects
• Relevant qualification in the field of English Language/Applied Linguistics/Mass Communication/Communication Studies/Arts and Social Sciences
• Candidates who possess experience in teaching at tertiary level or corporate training will have an added advantage
• Proficient in the use of digital tools for teaching and social media would be desirable
