What the role is:[What the role is]This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Power Engineering in the School of Engineering.[What you wil be working on]As a Lecturer in Power Engineering, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Electrical Engineering, specifically on electrical power systems and sustainable energy technologies.Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.Support student development in the area of education.[What we are looking for]Pre-requisites:Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the areas of electrical power systems and sustainable energy technologies or related.Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.About Ngee Ann Polytechnic:At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, our nine academic schools offer over 40 full-time diplomas to a growing student population of more than 15,000.
