What the role is:This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of InfoComm Technology.What you will be working on:Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Create teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students\' learning, performance and employability.Keep abreast of current trends and developments of technologies and emerging trends.Handle administrative work relating to education and school / institutional and strategic initiatives.Support School\'s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee.What we are looking for:Ability to teach courses in one or more areas of Cybersecurity, Data Science, Immersive Media, and ITAt least 3 years of relevant working experience in related domainPassionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learnersSelf-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple courses and projectsProficient in at least one programming languageAbout Ngee Ann Polytechnic:At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, our nine academic schools offer over 40 full-time diplomas to a growing student population of more than 15,000.
