What the role is: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Teaching & Learning Specialist) What you will be working on:
Lead and support curriculum enhancements (e.g., implementing interdisciplinary learning, flipped learning, etc.) in partnership with academic leaders and stakeholders across TP
Manage and coordinate projects with partners from across the POLITE sector in various programmes (e.g. through the Joint-Poly Committee for Enhancing Teaching and Learning (JP-CETL) and the Joint Polytechnic Academy for Educators (JP-AcE))
Conduct research in evidence-informed T&L practices using data and learning analytics
Drive adoption of innovative pedagogies and technologies to enhance PET/CET delivery
Deliver joint-polytechnic and TP-specific professional development programmes for the academic community
Explore and implement emerging technologies and approaches to respond to educational problem statements
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualification in Education, Education Technology, Adult Education or equivalent
At least 10 years of teaching experience in the polytechnic, and demonstrated competencies in curriculum design, facilitation of learning, assessment, technology-enhanced learning
Experienced in mentoring lecturers in implementing innovative ways of teaching
An agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex T&L challenges
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Must be self-driven, resourceful, and creative
Must possess a tenacious attitude with a growth mindset
