What the role is:[Who are we looking for]
Lecturer/Communication & Outreach /School of Informatics & IT[What you will be working on]

  • Deliver technology-related and/or TP Fundamentals subjects to support the Polytechnic Foundation Programme and/or diploma courses.
  • Undertake Subject Leader responsibilities for diploma or TP Fundamentals subjects.
  • Support communications and outreach initiatives in such as the creation and vetting of publicity and outreach collaterals, creation of videos and slides for stakeholder events.
  • Support outreach initiatives such as Parents Seminars, Open House, Joint Admissions Exercise, Early Admissions Exercise, Freshmen Orientation, TP InfoTech Day and other stakeholder events.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties related to upskilling students in their presentation skills and job preparedness.
[What we are looking for]
  • Relevant qualifications in the field of Computer Science / Information Technology / Communications or related studies.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in teaching IT-related or TP Fundamentals subjects.
  • A passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with teenagers and young adult.
  • Able to work well independently and a team player.
  • Possesses good communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good knowledge and experience in publicity and outreach initiatives.
