What the role is:
Develop and deliver training on BIM, immersive technologies, smart buildings, and IoT. Lead digital architecture initiatives, foster industry collaborations, and mentor learners. Continuously enhance learning experiences with the latest trends and innovations.
What you will be working on:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive training curricula on Building Information Modeling (BIM), immersive technologies, smart buildings and IoT in architecture for both pre-employment and adult learners.
• Lead and spearhead new initiatives in digital architecture and smart buildings, fostering industry collaborations and developing real-world projects that bridge academic learning with practical application in the above domains.
• Mentor and guide pre-employment learners through their educational journey, helping them cultivate both technical proficiency and soft skills.
• Continuously assess and enhance the learning experience by incorporating the latest trends and innovations.

What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM), immersive technologies in architecture, smart building systems, and IoT technologies with practical experience in applying these concepts in real-world projects.
• Proficiency in BIM tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and BIM 360.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as SketchUp and Blender, and parametric design and scripting tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo.
• Familiarity with immersive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR), with experience in utilising them for architectural design and visualisation.
• Experience in integrating IoT devices into architectural designs and operations.
• A passion for teaching, with an interest in engaging and inspiring students.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Building Technology, Built Environment, or related fields with substantial experience in industry practice.
