Legal And Compliance Manager, Hedge Fund
Job Description
A well established hedge fund in Singapore is looking to hire a Legal and Compliance Manager.
It's a newly created role to oversee legal and compliance matters
The compliance aspect will cover international compliance matters overseeing international investors (US, Caymans, Australia, Canada, UK).
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation such as offering memoranda, side letters, ISDAs, and broker agreements
Reviewing the work of external counsels.
Bachelor in law or qualified lawyer is preferred with 5 to 10 years of work experience. You could be working in a law firm or inhouse with a fund manager. Experience in derivatives trading, overseas compliance, side letter negotiations for hedge fund manager, resourceful and a good team player is a must. Pure compliance candidates willing to take on legal aspect with the help of external counsels, feel free to apply.
