Overall responsibility for legal matters related to the businesses of Porsche Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and consolidated subsidiaries within the respective geographical area of responsibility
Provide legal and compliance assessments and advice in business operations and group-wide projects
Draft, review and negotiate agreements and other instruments with legal relevance
Conduct targeted trainings for employees regarding legal and internal requirements
Point of contact within the organisation for staff members, regulators, and relevant public authorities on issues related to legal and compliance topics
Data Protection Officer
Provide consultation and play an important part in all Porsche projects and processes to safeguard data protection via privacy by design and default, consent management, data-sharing, privacy impact assessment, etc
Main point of contact within the organisation for staff members, regulators, and relevant public authorities on issues related to data protection
Fulfil data subject's requests, handle privacy-related complaints and manage data breaches
Draft, negotiate and review any commercial agreement containing protected information
Evaluate the existing data protection framework to identify and rectify gaps and risks, and also implement and manage Porsche privacy management system
Compliance and Corporate Governance
Develop, implement, and enforce, overall GRC (Governance Risks and Compliance) framework that transitions into agile and profitable operational workflows (policies and procedures)
Enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of Porsche business as well as provide advice and guidance on compliance matters (including data privacy, antitrust, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, human rights, environmental protection, etc.) to enable successful implementation of Porsche business and projects
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the Porsche world, assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks, develop best practices in compliance control, and constantly improve company policies and corporate governance strategy
Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously, and conduct compliance audits and examinations
Devise, conduct, and digitalise trainings on compliance topics, and promote a culture of compliance across all units of the organisation
Requirements
Law degree, with minimum 5 years of experience in legal consultation
Familiarity with applicable data privacy laws, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore, and a fundamental understanding of the EU General Data Protection Regulations
Analytical, with excellent problem solving and project management skills
Strong motivation and proactiveness to efficiently and diligently complete their duties, keeping in mind business acumen and the objectives of the organisation
Self-driven team player with a "can-do" attitude, strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
