Legal Associate 12 Months Contract

Job Description
What the role is:
You will be part of the team that advises on legal, legal policy and statutory matters, including contracts, intellectual property and technology law.
What you will be working on:
- Supporting the Legal unit's legal matters including vetting contracts
- Conducting legal research as assigned
- Supporting internal training efforts on legal matters for NAC colleagues
- Performing administrative duties and any other tasks as assigned
- Be a Qualified Person as set out in the Legal Profession (Qualified Persons) Rules
- Preferably called to the Singapore Bar
- Preferably at least 1 year post-qualification experience (PQE) in a legal setting
- Experience in handling corporate law and / or intellectual property law relating to one or more arts disciplines will be advantageous
- Strong analytical, communication, and research skills
- Good team player with a positive attitude who can work with minimal supervision
- Willing to take on administrative tasks and learn new areas of the law
- Interest in arts, technology, and law preferred
- Please note that this is a 12 months non-renewable contract position
