The Role

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, is looking for a legal professional who has banking & finance experience. This role will involve working closely with the Finance & Projects partners and team on matters including, but not limited to, general finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, and property finance.

We represent a wide variety of organizations on cross-border deals: leveraging deep familiarity with the needs of foreign capital in different markets, the multi-jurisdictional nature of projects, foreign law requirements and in-depth knowledge of specific industries to ensure we deliver the required results to our clients' expectations.

The Candidate

Minimum 4 years of banking and finance experience in a similar top-tier or leading international law firm; Exceptional technical, drafting, and commercial skills; Strong client service orientation; Strong business development aptitude, interest and experience; Relevant legal qualifications; Strong academic background; Keen and analytical mind, good at legal analysis and with a knack for problem-solving; Commitment to high work standards; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team (including across Asia Pacific offices and internationally);
