The candidate will act as a strategic legal partner to these business units resolving their legal needs. He/she should demonstrate a strong willingness to engage in developing strategies and also take the lead in resolving legal and commercial challenges.Make an Impact by:

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on all aspects of procurement, partnership, and other contracts with suppliers and partners for Singtel\xe2\x80\x99s business units.
• Pro-actively advise on legal, commercial and operational risk issues holistically as part of providing legal advice on the contracts.
• Work closely with the various business lines, and relevant stakeholders to provide pragmatic, robust legal solutions consistent with the Singtel Group\xe2\x80\x99s policies.
• Ensure documentation is systematically maintained with adequate processes and policies in place, and that organizational memory is retained, within the corporate business group.
• Collaborate, report to and work under the supervision of the Legal team at Singtel, Singapore.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Law and admitted to practice in Malaysia / Singapore or the UK
• Minimum of 5 years\' PQE gained as in-house lawyer or with a reputable commercial law firm.
• Strong legal analytical skills with a good eye for detail and sound knowledge of general corporate and contract law.
• Excellence contract drafting skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, and to meet critical deadlines.
• Able to work well both independently as a legal professional and custodian of the company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and as well as working collaboratively as part of a team.
