Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Legal Counsel to lead and manage complex legal and compliance matters in support of the company's strategic and operational goals. This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will provide expert legal guidance and ensure robust compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

Provide expert legal advice to management and cross-functional teams on a wide range of matters includingmarketing, regulatory, product safety and compliance. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs (e.g., advertising regulations). Proactively manage legal risks and support audits or investigations where necessary. Monitor legal and regulatory developments in key markets (U.S., and Europe), and assess their implications on business operations. Develop and deliver internal training on legal and compliance topics to strengthen organizational risk awareness and compliance culture. Collaborate with external counsel and legal teams across geographies to ensure consistent legal standards are applied globally. Undertake other projects and tasks assigned to support overall legal and business objectives.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB). Admission to the Singapore Bar is an advantage. A law degree from the U.S. or Europe is also welcomed. At least 5-8 years of progressive legal experience, ideally in an in-house role within multinational corporations or reputable law firms. Prior experience in handling U.S. or Europe matters is preferred. Strong knowledge in compliance. Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills. Strong business acumen with the ability to assess and manage risk while enabling business objectives. Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Fluency in spoken Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterparts is a plus.
