Join us at Be@me and invest in your smile!Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team, with a focus on supporting our operations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the dental or healthcare industry, and be adept at managing legal issues across multiple jurisdictions within APAC. You will provide strategic legal advice, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support business activities to mitigate legal risks.**This role is open to both full time or part-time arrangements, which can be discuss further during recruitment processRequirements

• Providing legal counsel on a wide range of matters including contracts, regulatory compliance, and business transactions within the APAC region.

• Researching, advising and evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations

• Advising on healthcare and dental industry-specific regulations and ensure the company adheres to all local legal requirements

• Specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitoring compliance

• Support cross-functional teams in navigating legal risks and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

• Applying effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues

• Reviewing, drafting and solidifying agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company\xe2\x80\x99s full legal rights

• Dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally including external legal counsel as needed to address complex legal matters.

• Providing clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization

• Monitoring changes in laws and regulations across APAC countries that may impact the business.

• Minimum 2-3 years of being a legal advisor

• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment, startups experience is an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience within the dental or healthcare industry

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures, across APAC regions

• Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation

• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies

• High degree of professional ethics and integrity

• Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information

• Outstanding communication skills

• BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
