Job Title: Legal Counsel (Asia Pacific)Company: Our client is a data centre developer/operator, working closely with end users across Asia to deliver complex data centre capacity.Location: SingaporeRole Overview: As the in-house Legal Counsel, you will act as an independent resource internally, reporting directly into the CEO. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely, practical, and commercially focused legal advice to support the company\'s growth across the Asia Pacific region.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on strategic projects across the Asia Pacific region.
• Assist with various legal matters, including construction, procurement, data centre operations, IP and trademark, real estate, energy, renewable power, corporate structuring, capital raising, and general commercial contracts (e.g., customer agreements, confidentiality agreements).
• Review, comment on, and draft a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Offer accurate, practical legal advice to non-legal staff across various business units.
• Coordinate external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions in APAC.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company\'s operations, technologies, and products/services.

• Law degree from a recognized law school.
• Minimum of 5 years\' post-qualification experience.
• Candidates from law firms with robust generalist corporate expertise and commercial insight are encouraged to apply.
• Additional experience or interest in the construction and major projects domain is advantageous.
• Proficient in drafting, negotiating, transaction management, and fostering relationships.
• Capable of assessing legal risk and providing solution-oriented guidance.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse business teams.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.
• Effectively bilingual - English and Mandarin
