Job Description

The Role:

We are hiring a dedicated Legal Counsel to manage and advise on a wide range of legal disputes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in litigation and arbitration, who can effectively protect the company's interests in both local and international matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of commercial disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies. Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and other legal documents for court and arbitration proceedings. Work closely with external legal counsel, providing instructions and monitoring case progress. Advise internal stakeholders on dispute risks, compliance issues, and preventive strategies. Handle pre-litigation matters, including negotiations and settlement discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent law degree. Admitted to the Singapore Bar with

at least 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)

in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration. Strong track record in handling complex disputes in Singapore courts and/or arbitral institutions (e.g., SIAC, ICC). Excellent advocacy, drafting, and communication skills. High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters. Resilient, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
