Description

Kerry Consulting is working closely with one a European Bank with strong presence here in Asia. They are currently looking for a Legal Counsel Global Markets to join their APAC global markets legal team. The team is highly dynamic and cohesive. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join an organization that is in their growth phase.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will report into the APAC Head of Legal for Global Markets and will be responsible for providing legal advice on the issuance of various products (e.g. Fixed Income, Rates, Credits etc) and their related legal and regulatory issues. You will be reviewing and negotiating master distribution agreements and transaction documents. You will partner closely with the internal stakeholders to ensure that any legal enquiries are addressed at the earliest.

Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you should be a commonwealth qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE. Prior knowledge in ISDA, structured products, derivatives environment with a financial institution or a leading law firm would be helpful for this role.
