Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Provide legal advice, conducts legal research and analysis for various areas including APAC employment law, intellectual property law, conflict of law and company law Research, evaluate and minimise different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations including litigation, financial and reputation risk Maintaining various in-house databases according to regulations in different jurisdictions including PDPA Draft, review and negotiate settlement documents, contracts, agreements and other legal documents to assure the full legal rights of the group and the company Coordinate and negotiate with external parties (clients, vendors, regulators, external counsels, public authorities etc.) Advice on various legal issues on the business development front including potential liabilities and possible courses of actions Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislations (articles, codes, statutes, bills) in the jurisdictions in which the group and the company operatesProvide legal guidance for M&A projects and venturesRequirements: Recognized law degree from a recognised university in the Commonwealth, preferably qualified to be called to the bar in Singapore At least 3 years of experience in general commercial practise groups and/or as an in-house legal counsel at a technology/telecommunications company Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail with strong negotiation skills High degree of professional ethics and integrity Ability to maintain good control and good balance between compliance and maximizing business opportunities Experience in the ASEAN region will be an advantage (eg Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia) knowledge of is interested in telecommunications technology or industry will be an added advantageKindly forward your resume in Word format to Pratima(at)tekvillage.comEA Licence No: 18C9120Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $3,500.00 - $7,500.00 per monthSchedule:
