Airwallex continuously launches new and innovative products. In your role as a Legal Counsel specializing in product innovation, development, and deployment at Airwallex, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our product teams and actively participate in the rollout of numerous innovative products.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Advise on the entire product lifecycle and become a trusted advisor to our product stakeholders.
• Support on developing and launching new products by giving concise and practical legal, regulatory and strategic guidance to our product teams.
• Translate legal and regulatory advice into solutions for product development.
• Be an advising partner for the product teams.
• Advise on the implementation of the regulatory framework when launching new products, or when laws and regulations change.
• Identify key risks from a practical, legal and regulatory perspective, and ensure that such risks are dealt with in a pragmatic way.
• Solve for regulatory challenges by coming up with creative and compliant solutions; and
• Manage contact with external counsel to confirm solutions and regulatory requirements.

What you\'ll bring

• An LLM from a renowned university.
• At least 5-8+ years PQE working experience at a top tier law firm, or as an in-house legal counsel in the FinTech space.
• Strong experience with financial regulatory laws, including payment laws and an ability to understand how products would fit into these laws.
• You are highly analytical, detail-oriented and have strong self-motivation.
• You are able to understand highly complex product matters and are able to find practical solutions that ensure regulatory compliance.
• You enjoy working in a highly dynamic environment.
• Your communication skills are excellent, ensuring smooth and efficient communication with stakeholders across the globe.
