Legal Counsel

Job Description
We are partnering with our client, a local firm in the distribution of medical supplies, and they are looking for a Legal Counsel in an individual contributor role who will be able to handle all Contract & Legal matters.
Role
- Work with stakeholders to draft legal documents including:
- Contracts, sales & purchase agreements
- Leasing of facilities
- MOUs
- Procurement documents
- Employment contracts
- Confidentiality agreements
- Able to highlight risk and legal points leading to dispute
- Liaise with external counsel for follow through on legal matters
- Prepare and guide employees on contract issues, compliance, and policy matter
- Maintain records and files
- Support corporate governance
- Ad-hoc matters as required
- Diploma or LLB in Law or Legal Studies
- At least 7 - 10 years of experience in contract drafting and management
- Strong interpersonal skills
