Job Description

What the role is:
You provide sound and timely legal advice to MINDEF/SAF departments on a wide spectrum of legal issues, in the areas of civil law, international law, operations law and military law.
What you will be working on:
- Provide legal counsel - Handle military prosecutions in the military courts - Review and draft contracts - Support legislation matters - Conduct legal training - Advise on operations law - Support SAF exercises and deployments Challenge(s) - Interacting with a wide spectrum of stakeholders (both legally and non-legally trained) and communicating legal advice clearly and effectively - Being familiar with the wide areas of operations and policy in MINDEF
What we are looking for:
- Education in Law - At least 2 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) is preferred - International Law background is advantageous - Strong legal analysis and reasoning skills - Good writing and communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as in a team (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
